Job Summary

The Professional Services Consultant, Sr takes the leadership role in consulting engagements and assumes responsibility for performing implementation tasks and producing quality deliverables. Drives implementation deliverables and assist the Project Manager with organizing and controlling tasks within the work plan. Takes a leadership position on project teams, engagements, and respective consulting practices. Can work independently with clients or as part of integrated project teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate and manage the delivery of the ERP financial Modules (AP, AR, GL) during Epicor Implementation projects.
• Operate independently to provide quality application consulting services.
• Collaborate with members of cross-functional teams.
• Assist Project Manager in determining direction, timelines, schedules and activities for the area of finance on the project.
• Organize and conduct structured workshops and trainings with the client displaying knowledge of the application and the business environment in defining the customer's needs as Projects assignments.
• Drive the solution design maximizing the adoption of the Kinetic solution.
• Configure the application according to the agreed solution design decisions.
• Support the data migration process from a functional point of view
• Take the lead on understanding new products or new features
• Demonstrate expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on complex customer engagements.
• Write business requirement documents and other functional, related documentations.
• Practice Epicor Project Implementation Methodology.
• Identify functional enhancement areas and propose appropriate resolution strategies.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Customer centric, results oriented, self-starter and able to work independently.
• Ability to work under pressure and to complete project deliverables on time.
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills, including virtual presentations.
• Maintain skills / certifications in area of core competency and for new or enhanced products.
• Ability to travel up to 40%
• Proactive, independent self-starter attitude
• Ability to operate with little supervision taking ownership and accountability in the given area of expertise
• Demonstrated knowledge across industry verticals
  
  

Qualification

• 7+ years applicable manufacturing accounting experience, and/or demonstrated success/knowledge
• 5+ years of consulting experience preferred
• Bachelors degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Fluent in English and either in Finnish or German
