Job Description

Position Summary

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop creative sourcing strategies to attract the best candidates while maintaining excellent relationship with all stakeholders

Role and Responsibilities

  • Serve as an ambassador of Samsung internally and externally while achieving tactical talent acquisition objectives
  • Follow established and best practice recruitment processes, as well as seek continuous improvement.
  • Meet with hiring managers to review candidate status or to discuss new requirements, position specifications and develop a staffing plan that includes sourcing strategies, advertising, and discuss other means of candidate generation through various sourcing methods such as: robustly utilizing internal Applicant Tracking Systems, approved tools (LinkedIn, etc.), referrals, internal transfers etc.
  • Regularly communicate with all stakeholders on timeline expectations and status of the search.
  • Drives the Samsung employer brand to all candidates and channels to promote Samsung as an Employer of Choice.
  • Effectively partner with customer groups, HR counterparts, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth recruiting process and experience for all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with outside temporary and contract consulting agencies to achieve maximum cost-effectiveness and quality in the production of externally sourced candidates.
  • Partner with shared Service centre for verification check process
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Recruitment & Selection - measuring performance through agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) & Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maximizing efficiency and overall effectiveness of services.
  • Coordinate and deal with the recruitment and selection administration required by HR policies relating to the appointment of new employees.
  • Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (sourcing, attending interviews, screening calls etc.)

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of supporting fast-paced Talent Acquisition functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in applicant tracking systems
  • Experience in sourcing profiles for technical roles
  • Strong time management skills
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (HR, Business Admin or equivalent)
  • Proven ability to prioritize/ multitask in a rapidly changing work environment and handle multiple tasks at once; strong attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to identify solutions independently and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work successfully and professionally with all levels of employees and management in a professional manner
  • Proven ability to take initiative and build positive and productive professional relationships
  • Responsive, collaborative, and takes initiative to assist others
  • Exceptional organization skills and the ability to handle a multitude of assignments and details simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing a recruitment dashboard to monitor recruitment KPI to track and improve recruitment performance
