Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and screen recruitment applications from various sources
  • Conduct and Coordinate the short-listing and interviewing activities
  • Maintain staff files and related recruitment tracking tools and statistics
  • Support & monitor variety of human resources activities i.e. appointments, staff movements, resignations, retirement, re-assignment, transfer and other mobility of staff to ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies
  • Preparing job descriptions and person specifications
  • Supporting internship programs, national service training and any other. .
  • Maintaining the human resource database and all employee records and accurate filing system.
  • Participate in the investigation of grievances from employees and assist in the resolution of disciplinary or grievance cases in line with the organization's policies and procedures, seeking intervention of seniors when required, especially for cases of complex nature.
  • Handle questions, interpret and administer timekeeping and help resolve attendance-related problems to ensure time and attendance guidelines are met.
  • Assist with the research necessary to update and maintain all policies and procedures to ensure all new government / federal human resource laws and policies are recorded
  • Work closely with the designated department to assist line managers and employees in implementing the HR policies and procedures through providing adequate explanation and clarifications.
  • Assist as needed with the training of all managers and staff regarding performance management and the appraisal process.
  • Assisting line manager in conducting performance management system and finalizing the appraisal ratings
  • Implements induction program. This will be presented to all new joiners.
  • Perform any other relevant tasks as directed by the HC&GS

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration / HR / or equivalent
  • 2 to3 Years of relevant experience in a similar role
