Job Description

Role Summary

The Human Capital (HC) Director acts as a strategic leader by championing and driving the Human Capital agenda and strategy across Majid Al Futtaim Properties (MAFP) Corporate Office and Project Management Centre of Excellence. The role fosters a high-performance culture, ensures operational efficiency and owns key HC initiatives across MAF Properties. The HC Director ensures that the highest level of HC support is provided to the leadership and all employees in the most transparent, cost effective and timely manner to foster a positive environment.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Partner with the Corporate Office and Project Management Centre of Excellence CEOs and Head of Human Capital to create and lead on the HC strategy by analyzing and anticipating business needs, market dynamics, HC challenges and establish a roadmap in line with overall Majid Al Futtaim Properties strategies.
  • Collaborate with Human Capital Directors across MAF Properties and other Operating Companies to support in driving the overall Human Capital agenda for Majid Al Futtaim Group.
  • Support Corporate Office and PM COE leadership to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes to meet business objectives.
  • Provide functional level leadership and expertise on the strategies, policies and procedures of HC. Additionally Cultivate a Talent-to-Value culture, focusing on attracting, developing, deploying and retaining top talent.
  • Lead the annual workforce planning and budgeting, ensuring timely fulfillment of staffing requirements for business continuity and growth.
  • Drive transformative restructuring initiatives to enhance efficiency and meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage and drive talent data and analytics to provide leadership with facts and trends on leadership development, employee engagement, talent needs, compensation and attrition.
  • Drive the implementation and ensure comprehensive understanding of Talent Management initiatives, including Performance Management, Succession Planning and Talent Identification, to foster a high performing and agile workforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent.
  • Certification such as CIPD / SHRM is desirable.
  • 12 - 15 years of experience in managing all HR disciplines in a reputable company preferably Retail / Real Estate in GCC.
  • 5 - 7 years on a managerial position.
