People Specialist in our office in Dubai


The People Specialist is responsible for helping the local offices in driving the firms people strategy, creating a unique people experience for each individual, and supporting our firmwide values by working with the core competencies that measure and drive individual and firmwide success in the marketplace


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day HR operations in Equiti Dubai and manage the full operational employee lifecycle.
  • Act as the local People Partner for UAE, driving core HR support activities.
  • Contribute to talent acquisition and recruitment processes, including filtering CVs, scheduling interviews, and drafting contracts.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and organize training & development initiatives.
  • Manage the onboarding of new joiners and conduct the HR induction.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as medical insurance, staff benefits, leaves, and issue resolution.
  • Promote HR initiatives to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Undertake tasks around performance management, including organizing quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
  • Gather and analyze HR metrics data, maintain employee files, and ensure data accuracy across systems.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
  • Implement and manage employee engagement tools to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Work closely with the Finance Department.
  • Schedule the orientation and induction of inductees.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor law.

Experience Requirements

  • Professional work experience as HR with 4 years of experience in an International firm.
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Familiarity with UAE Labour law.
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Knowledge of SAP HRIS system.
  • Uses experience in HR-related roles to deliver work with little direct intervention.
  • Masters diligence in performing administrative tasks and duties, always looking for optimization and improvement opportunities within the assigned job spectrum.
  • Competent with MS Office and can build Senior Management-friendly presentations or training.
